The Syllabus of B. A. in Assamese is prepared to provide students in depth ideas of various issues related to Assamese language, literature and culture. The course also provides some basic ideas about the concept of linguistics, comparative Indian literature and world literature. Gender issues are not directly included in the course but some text are selected which can be analyzed from feminist perspective. The whole course basically involve with create consciousness about sustainability and development of Assamese language, literature and culture. The course wise curriculums are as follows:-
