Celebration of Constitution Day at HPB Girls’College, Golaghat.

The Constitution Day was celebrated at HPB Girls'College Golaghat in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Golaghat. On the occasion a awareness meeting about the importance of Constitution was held. Dr. Bulbuli Boruah, Principal of the college presided over the meeting. Dr. Boruah in her short speech emphasised on the importance and relevance of the day. Mr. Yogesh Charan, District Officer of Nehru Yuva Kendra Golaghat along with Mr. Arun Chakraborty, Secretary NYS Golaghat were present in the event. They took spoke on the importance of the day. Two students of the college - Ms. Kashmiri Bora and Ms. Pronami Chagmai of the Department of Political Science gave a brief lecture on the importance of Constitution in our society and the need to respect it. The program was organised under the aegis of the Constitutional Obligation Cell IQAC, convenor Ms. Akashi Boruah. The meeting was followed by a quiz competition amongst the students. It was conducted by Dr. Sumit Sarma, Asst professor, Department of Political Science. It was followed by prize distribution ceremony. A large number of students and faculty members were present in the event.
