Visit of Honourable Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Hemanta Biswa Sarma at HPB Girls’College Golaghat.

A historic day for our institution. Glad to host Honourable CM Shri. Himanta Biswa Sarma at our College today. A host of other dignitaries, which included Honourable Finance Minister of Assam and MLA Golaghat LAC Smt. Ajanta Neog, Honourable Minister of Health Shri Keshab Mahanta, Honourable Minister of Agriculture Shri Atul Bora, Honorable Minister of Power and Energy Smt. Nandita Garlossa Honourable MLA Khumtai LAC Shri. Mrinal Saikia, Sarupathar LAC MLA Shri. Biswajit Phukan, and Dergaon LAC MLA Shri. Bhabendra Nath Bharali along with Golaghat DC Dr. P. Uday and SP Golaghat Smt. Ramandeep Kaur also graced occasion in the presence of many notable guests. Honourable CM in his speech and interaction with the students emphasised on the need of innovation and inquisition of noble ideas. Addressing the students as 'Amrit Xantan' (Children of the Golden period) asked them to remain active, alert and positive. The meeting ended with an interaction session with the students.
